FEATURED PROJECTS
Shelly Bay Library was a design that focused on preserving the view shafts of surrounding buildings. This was achieved by transparency and height, so one could see through and under the building. The transparency of the design allowed the user to feel invited to enter and explore the building.
This project focused on environmental and sustainable design. Here, the site was analyzed, and issues were addressed. For example, bioswales and other drainage systems were designed because the site has many water pooling risks. Thermal comfort and usable daylight were also assessed using graphs, such as psychometric charts.
The street art gallery is a space for expression through art. The visitor is allowed to spray-paint the walls and become part of the exhibition. The design takes the user on an emotional journey through themed gallery spaces: anger, sadness, happiness, and peace. The rendering shown is of the peace gallery. Here, one is meant to sit and reflect and finally feel at peace after dealing with difficult emotions.
